All I can get from those letters is False reasoning too.....but I cannot parse it.

It feels like there's an anagram there but I cannot sse it.

I think a poor clue for a cryptic crossword as it is simply a statement of an incorrect assumption which is therefore non sequitur, an alternative expression for which is given in the dictionary as 'false reasoning'. I can't see any alternative way of getting to the answer

We've established false. It's the second word which is causing the problem, and the connection with eyelashes.
