hi, still struggling with the dingbat that simply says Boudoir, i do not think the answer is as simple as the salon, or bedroom, etc because these are crossword answers. the answer by the way is a film title but i'm blowed if i can get it, one answer kindly given last time i asked was ' alias ladyfingers' but it is boudoir biscuits that are also known as ladyfingers and the dingbat does not mention biscuits, it simply states Boudoir any help would be appreciated

thank-you for that scorpiojo, but it does not get me away from the context of salon, the salon, bedroom, and now room, maybe its me but i just think these are answers you would give to a crossword rather than a dingbat, for example there are 50 other dingbats in this competition and they all have answers where you seem to have to play with the words a little, you don't seem to have to substitute a word of equal meaning,best, hops

hi,mallyh,thank you for that, i can see the french as Boudoir is a french word originally but i am not sure about connection, could Boudoir be described as a connecting room? i wondered if the capital B had something to do with it.

thank you davemano, i think it has to be more specific to the word Boudoir on its own rather than Boudoir photograghy or Boudoir biscuits because i think some clue for photography or biscuits would be in the dingbat, as we have seen from replies there is a all host of films that it could be by substituting Boudoir for a similar word so it will be interesting to see what the quizmaster has gone for, i cannot find anything in the word itself by moving the letters around or by anagrams of the word like' bird 'in something or do'in something etc, in the absence of anything else i have come to the conclusion that i am probably overthinking this and that answers like the salon or bedroom could be correct even though they are what i would term crossword answers and not dingbat answers. thanks to all for helping.

hi, enigma, i have put 'spotlight' as it the name given to the super trouper, but i find it as unconvincing as i suspect you do. i think 'mamma mia' is completely wrong and is nearly as desparate as me with Boudoir
