Money Week 818
3 Answers
Odd one in the Tim Moorey crossword. I have completed the grid but underneath one is asked:
“Each pair of six answers in the top, middle and bottom rows….
{these are Sawyer, Cruise, Clever, Sleuth, Potter, Prince}
….translated into a common phrase, can be related to the answers to 17 & 12 down, which are…
{Man in the Street}
Write down the phrase (3, 4, 3, 5)”
I can’t see how those six words, which don’t seem to have anything to do with each other, apart arguably from Clever Sleuth, can turn into a phrase that means “Man in the Street”
