10 Answers
im not going so lost my flight, i paid fare plus taxes. omega flights tell me they will refund me only £55 and i need pay an admin fee, is this correct . i must sign what they have written below. please see below i have copied the email-
( According to the penalty condition of ticket, I am willing to pay the administration
fee of GBP50.00 for this tax refund for application for each passenger and
I am aware that it would take up to 10-12weeks to get a refund back to my
original payment card of GBP:55.00.each passenger.
The actual taxes can refund back depend on the airline policy.)

REFUNDS
The amount of refund due depends on the restrictions of the air ticket purchased.
Some heavily restricted tickets are non refundable.
Some tickets are refundable minus airline cancellation charge and our admin fee.
Refunds can take between 8-12 weeks to process once submitted to the airline.
Omega Flightstore Refund Charge = £50 per ticket.

The taxes (air passenger duty) weren`t £346.45. That figure would include the APD (which would be about £73 plus all the add ons such as fuel surcharge, handling fees and departure tax at the destination airport of there is any. http:// www.thi sismone y.co.uk /money/ holiday s/artic le-3723 398/How -claim- tax-tic ket-mis s-fligh t.html If it were me, I would get my booking reference and contact the airline direct to find out if they charge to refund APD which is only payable on the outbound sector and do it direct with them.
