I don't really need any help but I wanted, before my " Crossword Jamboree" comes to an end, to repeat my New Year good wishes to all those who help me and others. I don't think Lie-in King and Mamyalynne could have seen it. Even if they did, it is worth repeating. I hope you have a fantastic 2017!
And I hope you had a good Christmas. I did. I have obviously been quite a good boy as Father Christmas was pretty generous. He can't have thought me outstanding though as the hoped for new laptop did not come. Ah well!
I have had a great holiday, full of different types of crossword but SWMBO has given notice that tomorrow is the start of what she calls " real work"

Steven, I'm presuming 'real work' means schoolwork, revising, exams, etc so yes I agree you need to prioritise. Crosswords will still be there when you've succeeded in your goals. Good luck for the year ahead.

SWMBO is of course correct - nose to the grindstone, fingers to the bone etc!

Steven what a kind thread and I may have missed your earlier messages - hope you had a great Christmas and am sure a new laptop won't be far off in the future.

Thank you all for your good wishes. And I am sure SWMBO will be glad of your support!
I don't think she will be stopping me from crosswords altogether but I suspect it will be back to just the Saturday one. It could be worse!
The other thing that is back to normal is bath time etc.
