Now that I'm done, I'm embarrassed at how long it took me -- I was trying to sort out the first line of the address as I went along, and the P didn't D until right at the end. Many thanks, KevGar, that was fun.

Yes, I really enjoyed this. I did get a bit lucky with some guesswork in the initial gridfill. Nice PDM and I enjoyed resolving the clues. Thanks, KevGar.
Another enjoyable puzzle, whose endgame took more time than it should - I blame my age ! Unlike AHearer, I focused on filling the grid before attempting to find the address. Some neat clues, all of which are now resolved. Thanks KevGar.
We know the address rather well but it was starting the gridfill that took me forever especially as I had a meal to cook for guests - not perhaps an appropriate one. This was a fine challenge, thanks, KevGar.
Indeed a splendid effort. It looked like a total nightmare at first but the long answers were a great help with getting started on filling the grid and it was a smooth solve from there. I'd made my mind up what the address was going to be at the start, and of course I was totally wide of the mark. The highlighting involved a small fraction of the solving time (as it should) and that's a big plus. Nice one, Kevgar.
I liked that a lot - thanks KevGar. I found it difficult to remember which clue type was which at times whilst solving - but perhaps that was just me recovering from the Magpie do yesterday. Great fun!
Excellent - good clues and a tricky gridfill.

I made no attempt to divine the theme until I'd filled the grid & parsed all the clues - then the address was easily revealed.

The subsequent grid stare was mercifully brief and, like the subject, intensely satisfying.

Cheers KevGar
Aye, a straightforward enough puzzle.

Enjoyable ... thanks, KevGar.

Agree with Hagen.
I presume we are meant to highlight the subject just the once, rather than wherever it occurs in the grid - an unfortunate ambiguity in an otherwise enjoyable solve. I liked the red herring too.
Very good fare indeed, and we can certainly do without any red herrings (or is the plural still red herring?). I liked what I assumed was the intentional thematic nod in two of the clues.
Three top quality puzzles to start 2017, and this was the best. Many thanks, Kevgar.
This was far easier than it looked at first, though possibly harder than Kevgar's previous two Listeners. Unlike Hagen it was some shorter answers with unclued letters that got me started on the grid, and progress was smooth apart from a lull caused by an unforced error on my part. The clueing gimmicks offered some nice opportunities that were well exploited.

I'm surprised that only one person has made any mention of ambiguity in the highlighting. With the various permutations there is a total of eight possible solutions. In the absence of any preamble guidance one can only guess at the intended solution. While one of the eight might be regarded as visually more elegant than the others, it has a couple of weaknesses that some of the others avoid, so it's hard to see it as the only viable solution.
Very nice indeed; thanks, KevGar.
Sorry Scorpius, but can't agree that there is ambiguity here - at least not on the "hare" scale! The preamble specifies it adequately for me. Can't think of a non-revealing way of saying more.
I think I know what you are alluding to, borealis, but there's a slight inconsistency in its application, so I'm not completely convinced by the 'specification' in the preamble. If you are right I imagine that many solvers will get the right solution without seeing why.
Good fun and quite a workout even though we sussed the theme almost immediately. See no ambiguity and are satisfied that our highlighting is right.
Now see the suggested ambiguity. Agree with what is implicit in the post from borealis. Go with the obvious, not the obscure.
