indie slow song, prefferbly very recent

i heard this song yesterday in a store. i dont know what it called ro who its by, or even most of the lyrics. But i think there was a guitar and it was man, a bit of an indie song and the chorus is low and it goes, ".....you.....know," like slowly. or something like that. i know its not much help. but i really liked the song.

For goodness sake! How many songs fit this description 'think there was a guitar, man, a bit of an indie song', 'chorus is low and it gopes ' you...know', flippin' loads!!!!!

Did you not think to ask the shop assistants what it was? Surely theyt would know what CD's they were playing, unless it was the radio obviously.

Could it be 'You Know' by Athlete, from their first album 'Vehicles and Animals' (2003)? Its a slow and melodic song, sung by a man, rather indie...
By the way, last time i was in HMV and asked the guy behind the till what was being played, he didn't have a clue. Just saying :-)

no it wasnt unfortunatly. i would have know it was athlete they have a very unique voice. but thanx anyway :)
