A possible problem that might be a compiler mistake. 2 clues that affect each other, I think I know the answers to both - but putting either answer in makes the other one wrong (the affected letter of 1d is letter 5 & the affected letter of 12a is letter 1).

1d. Burns: "Great chieftain o' the ___ race (6) P?D??
I reckon it should be PUDDIN making letter 1 of 12a I

12a. Saint with a square off Glasgow's Argyll Street (5) ??O?H
I reckon it should be ENOCH making letter 5 of 1d E

Can't find any reference to a version of Puddin (abbreviation of Pudding)being spelt Pudden - or any reference to St Enoch being spelt Inoch.

Any ideas - or have they goofed

Thanks

Enoch looks right to me - it could be a setter's error though I found a reference to pudden too

Located on the site of the former St Enoch Station, the building is just off Glasgow's famous shopping thoroughfare, Argyle Street
