Note now the percentages roughly rise the futher down the list you go. It may well be meaningless, as may the survey.

The stats don't bear it out at all as far as I can see. The 4 countries on the top of the (fairly selective) list are all southish and eastish, but
the vast majority of countries in that region are not surveyed.
Generally I would say that in Eastern europe people are more xenophobic and racist, but this all seems a bit random. My own potted survey suggests that the fewer foreigners in a country the more insular and suspicious of outsiders that country is. But it's all pretty tenuous.

Perhaps those countries also think there may be a holy war, with their countries being on the front line?

according to that piece Islam will be dominant by 2070, that is a long way off and if someone hasn't noticed they are killing one another at an alarming rate. or being killed by western forces. plus those from African, Asian countries, many babies are born despite poverty, war, famine, yet don;t survive beyond a few years, as we have seen on the news, i don't think that Islam is going to take over any day soon.
Ah! Well why didn't you say so at the start! You are sometimes hard to second-guess :-)
So I guess your thinking is that all these south and east countries are on the "front line"
It ought to be worth pointing out that that quote is actually from a Turkish government spokesman, and the Turksh govt is currently doing a very good impression of a body that has taken collective leave of its senses.
Maybe that is why Wilders did badly in the Netherlands: the voters realised they were in the safer north western part :-)

Hmm, not sure what history you are on about there. Hungary, Poland, Russia, Ukraine et al still smarting after years of oppression by the darkies? Don't think so :-)
What chiefly influences thinking in those countries is memories of wars with their neighbours, and also, frankly, ignorance. You donl;t necessarily learn political correctness if you don't need to, to put it as crudely as I can.
Anyway, not sure that's the agenda AOG is pushing. He's thinking more holy wars against the infidels I think.

AOG - //We have quite a few Eastern Europeans living here, are you suggesting that they have brought their xenophobic and racist attitude with them to the UK? //
In common with YMB, you are attributing a viewpoint to ichkeria that he has not stated, so you can argue with him about it.
Would it not be more fair to discuss the point he has actually made, rather than arguing the point you wish he had made, so you could pick him up on that?
