For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Khan shouldn't have allowed himself to become embroiled in this, but I don't think he is suggesting that Donald Trump's visit be cancelled altogether - simply that it shouldn't be a State visit with all the paraphernalia that goes with that. He's President of the US and he says he is in complete solidarity with this country. We must exert diplomacy even if he doesn't. The State visit should go ahead.
