The Euro Millions lottery has rolled over for the eight time and stands at a whopping £167 mill.

Would you like to see one winner or 167 people each winning a million???

I would like to see the latter.

Really rather depends on whether the winner was me ;)
I couldn't care less who wins....it won't be me, never having bought any lottery ticket ever!
If I can't be the sole winner of £167m then I'd be quite content to be one of 167 winning £1m. :o)
I would enter if I had 167 chances of winning £1 million.
I honestly would not want the life changing effects of £167 million.
I'd much rather that it'd be shared with 167 people, I've never played the Euro one and only play lotto on the odd occasion since they upped the price.

I totally agree - 1 million would satisfy me .
It's the uncontrollable effects that would follow , that would be cause for concern
Yes
It's ridiculous! So unfair.
I'd like to think I'd donate a whole lot to local hospices and charities.

The thought of giving money to family which might ruin their lives is not nice.

167 x £1m is better.
Its a stupid amount for one person alone to win unless they decide to give a lot of it to much needed charities, hospitals or hospices, etc. No one person needs to win as much as that.

merely endurable?

I'd want the lot - but I would give most of it away, probably mainly to animal and homeless/mental health charities.
is the draw this Wednesday then? or tonight?

Haven't bought a ticket for ages.
I don't know who'd want to but they'll be able to afford an Arsenal season ticket.

I think it is so stupid paying one person all this money. I think more people would play if they had a chance of winning just 1 million.

It certainly is a life changing amount.
That would certainly offset the hit of any proposed 'garden tax' being bandied about the Shortbread Senate, if reports are to be believed.

Sharon; you do have a chance to win just one million - the raffle. I have to agree that it is a ridiculous sum for one person to win but i do the Euro with a friend and both of us have large extended families, many members of which could do with a good leg up.
I'd like to see me winning the lot. Why else would I buy a ticket ?
If i won that sum , i'd be scared to venture out of my house .

There is no way you'd be able to keep it a secret and the press would be camping outside your door for the obligatory photos .
Then you have the constant harrasment from people to replace their roof which has just blown off .... etc etc

Then you'd have the sinister people , kidnapping members of your family for ransom ...

Am i being silly here ?

What a vast amount, I would treat my wife to Fish-n-Chips, mushy peas, a glass of sparkling Water to give her the feel of drinking champagne, all this done on Monday night OAP Specials at Harry Ramsden's travel by courtesy of our local Arriva, don't ever call me tight, then I would order my new Beema.
