Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

7d Extreme exchanges make someone like Dior quit(8) I have **S*G*ER I am pretty sure it is designer but cannot gloss it other than that was what Dior was. Could it be resigned to fit in with quit in the clue? Designed? Designed? The more I look the worse it gets.
8d The old Duke's s fallen off Wendy's family horse(8) **A*L*N* I thought of Wendy Darling but got no further with that line.Charlene fits and she is a character on the Andy Griffith show. Charlene Darling. So......the final one is 5a Ridged end of track where surfers go in New York *N****. Final letter of this is the first in 8d.

Are the de letters at each end of the word the exchange referred to in the clue? I'm not sure.

As it's the TLS, I'm wondering if Dior refers to Tolkien's middle earth?
