One caught short with drink is a 29 (4,2) The answer to 29 is 'a pain in the a--e. I can't see why it is 'acts up' if it is? Any help appreciated - it is my last one.

Caught = CT
Drink = SUP
A CT SUP
acts up - A (one) + CT (caught, in cricket) + SUP (drink). Someone who acts up is a 29a.
Acts up - A(one) +ct(caught short) + sup(drink)
one = a
caught = ct
drink = sup

Thank you everyone - I can see the parsing now - I was confused by the 'one' which led me to believe I was looking for a noun
