He did resign as chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee on 6 September 2016.

What evidence do you have that he is faking his medical condition ?

If I have gloated, then its only because some politicians try to hang on, by their finger nails, instead of going gracefully.

I seem to recall that Fallon went reasonably quickly, with the minimum of fuss and embarrassment to his Party and Mrs May.

To the one who wants the ministerial code...
1) have you looked for it - I mean you know sort of goggled it or something
2) do you want me to apply under the FOI for a copy ? it is a bit time wasting if it is out there
3) is it an AB - "oh how I wish! how I WISH!" - but in fact when you have it - you dont read it ? I dont think anyone has read any of the pdfs I have cited over the last ten years. you could be the first!
