Thanks to dannyk13 & Lie-in King for your comments. I don’t enter as I’ve usually got a few crossings out ( I know I should use pencil but eyesight is better if done in ballpoint!!!!!)

A thought, Angie - if you've a scanner, you could copy & print it for working out on, then complete the original grid to use as your entry.

Good idea from L-i k.I always do a copy of the crossword before filling in the original grid.

Elliemay - you *can* use correction fluid, as long as the completed grid is *entirely* legible. For a Skeleton-type grid, it's possible to end up with something quite messy after only 1 or 2 errors, so I'd prefer the copy method.

A 9B pencil comes out dark grey but not quite black. Perhaps you could try that Angie.
