She was carried in Mini bus from home to school and back because of our countryside location..she was not a special needs pupil. I was frantic when they didn't drop her off at home and was glad her school satchel contained her address which at age five she had the nous to show them the note! Can empathise totally with how the parents felt .... must have been horrendous.

People that drive buses are not generally MENSA candidates and even those of us who are not can make mistakes.
Maybe they should complete a checklist that says check the bus?
What I wonder is why a vulnerable child is doing on a bus. My daughter, who is deaf, was taken by taxi to school with others as it was quite some distance nd paid for by the Tory council who can balance books. I see the labour council have now done this, maybe they hold some blame too?
