Am confused- hope you guys can help me here!
12D) Greek Goddess of Peace(6) E?E???
Now it should be Irene or Eirene yet
14A is defnitely Rosie as the answer- Cider with.... (5) and the E is the 3rd letter of 12 D
The first E in 12 D comes from 8A)Juniour girl guides- 7 letters- has to be Brownie.

So can you guys please help me to work this out as am scratching my head about this conundrum! Cheers all.

Yes, that is what thought yet it is Cider with Rosie and Rosie ends with E and therefore have E?E???. This is how it is printed in my Telegraph paper. So has Kate Mepham messed up again?

E is definitely the 3rd letter down as my 14 across is Cider with Rosie and that ends in E- it is not on the 4th line- wish it was!!

Is it on the 4th line on your paper- do I have the only newspaper that is misprinted where Cider With Rosie is on the 3rd line intersecting with the 11 D clue?

Thanks greatly everyone- yes, was having my senior dyslexic moment . For some bizarre reason read it as Cider with.... not ... With Rosie- so confuse myself totally- nothing unusual there ;-)! You guys are all the best!
