I have just heard from the family...details in place now.

For those of you who wish to attend, it's Tuesday the 20th, 11.30 at St James Church, the Uplands, Swansea - the wake in the Golf Club there. The church has more space than the originally intended venue.

For donations, the British Heart Foundation.

Details are being posted in the South Wales Evening Post on Thursday.......

Having said that, I may just do it.....it's 230 miles or so up there from here.
Aah,he’s going to have a great turn out from ab users judging by his condolence thread and I wish I lived more up north to be able to make it :(

unless you are in Penzance or environs, I'm further south than you, jahulaye!
What a long time between death and funeral ( I know, post mortem ) but difficult for Mikey's family .
Question Author
I agree, anne, and it wasn't as if they didn't know what had caused it...his consultant's notes showed that......they (the Govt) really ought to think this one through a bit more as to family comfort (and perhaps religion?).
I've known families to wait 4-5 weeks round here. Not the fault of PM or govt, it's just that there is no availability at the crems. If you want a burial, it will be a lot quicker.
Maybe he hadn't seen the doctor in the previous 2 weeks, Dt, so it would be "unexpected ".
Thank you DTC.
