Success writer has, essentially, with short teacher (4) ?M?S.
Toying with Amis as ‘writer’ as ‘a mis(s)’ could be ‘short teacher’ - but I’m not thrilled with that at all.
Anyone out there with a better notion?
Many thanks

martin amis is a writer
I think solvers will have noticed, but just in case...the 'a' is from the middle of 'Has' (has, essentially).
