I'm exhausted doing this!, just spent an age solving 17 down.
I still cannot get 21 across: Like Bill's camel, in books called 'bristly' (10) ?ORANGTA?NY (a letter /s needs to be deleted from the answer. The definition refer to the full word wordplay and letter-count to the grid entry.

Orangetawny - Shakespeare's (Bill's) "camel" (colour)

'rang' (called, in) 'O(ld) T(estament)' + 'awny' (bristly)
