Not a lot of difference to using an in car device that tells the insurer how you drive. Do they provide the tracker?
They'll lose some customers.....and gain others who are willing to accept cover under provided under those conditions.

The company must have decided it is worth the risk to change their business model.
I trust it'll prove an ineffective USP. But knowing the younger generation, they'll probably lap up the idea of being spied on.

True, it's as bad as them spying on how you drive, which also ought to be an anathema but inexplicably is ok with some.

I agree O G. For a start-off don't agree to 'smart' meters. Stop internet banking unless you are forced to do it and just don't sign up for anything. I know that I am a pain in the behind for some companies - but I won't, just won't be computerised. So an insurance company wants you to do all this - answer; about a hundred other smaller ones which scent business.
What's to stop you giving the fitbit (or whatever it is)to the gym bunny next door?

We have our health insurance with Vitality, and they are constantly wanting you to sign up to their fitness resources. To be honest, if it was compulsory, I'd just jack the insurance in.
