I think I can safely say counting woolly animals doesn't work. Woke up about an hour ago, tried a warm drink, and all the usual stuff but pretty much awake. The place feels too quiet and empty .

It's my last weekend before returning to work and it happens to be Ryder Cup weekend. The last 2 days he's been at his friend's house from 7am until 7pm, eating crap, drinking beer and then coming home with attitude. I've been up to my eyeballs in housework, dirty nappies, making feeds and grocery shopping.

His attitude is he's always watched the Ryder Cup, why should he stop now.

I wanted a name that sounded female, not either / or, and so I chose the moniker first given to me by my sister-in-law. Everyone calls me Lady C (my first name being Caroline and being a resident in the black country who is well spoken with no accent).

It's a light-hearted nickname and I don't mind it.

I'm awaking about 4 every morning. I get up for a pee but know I'm not going to get back to sleep. Ive recently found a bottle of wine gets me back to sleep and I'm off to bed when I've finished the last of it.
This isn't something I'd recommend for anyone else.

I've been there, Sandy. No harm if it's only now and again. Being a mum I couldn't contemplate it atm but I'll be retired one day.
