Monday. I just poked me beak out the back door, very quickly brought it back in again. Somewhat nippy this morning, again!

A much better night's sleep, so feeling a lot more alive this morning.

Not a lot to do today apart from the usual running around, so I' ll do that and come back to my cosy nest for the rest of the day...but that can change of course!

like danny, couldn't sleep so here i am, though for how long i will last remains to be seen.

thank you, i think the events of the past 8 months with all the anxiety of going to hospital having a colonoscopy and the rest are starting to impact my sleep. I don;t usually wake so early, but am now and find it hard to get through the day. THe DWP are insisting i attend a medical and i am trying my hardest not to freak out, and hope they will see sense and allow a home visit. I feel isolated and alone.

Sorry to see that emmie. As I've said before, I had to go through that too. They are very thorough, but fair. From what you have told us I'm sure they will give you the right result. It's a worrying time for you though.
I wish there was something I could do to help.

sometimes i wish sincerely there was a man about the house, someone to offload to and take some of the problems. Sadly Mr Em was likely the last partner i will have and he passed away some years ago.

Emmie, sorry to see you're going through so much stress. Anything to do with government bureaucracy is a nightmare. I'm sure there are decent compassionate people in the system somewhere, but you don't often see them.

Awake early today. It's that extra hour. Can we just stop doing this please?

Morning, coffee in pot, wide awake that's before drinking it. Gym today then more cards, I checked my stock and I was out of almost everything so made birthday and best wishes ones yesterday. I made the mistake of mentioning it to mum so she said could I bring her about twenty and her neighbour would like some General ones and maybe my sister could do with a few to send as she is struggling at the moment..... who does she think I am. Hallmark!!!!!

i use this time to calm myself where possible, and will return to bed shortly. But the problems have escalated to such a point that my brain is on fire with them.
