Openoffice Printing
9 Answers
I've just helped my friend download OpenOffice, and it works beautifully. However, when you go to File then Print, although it recognises her printer (HP ENVY 4520) it just will not print.
I've tried going to Options/Tools/Print but that gives no option to, for example, set that printer to be default printer. The printer works fine from her iPad. Anyone please have any ideas what the problem might be?
Very frustrating, especially after my extolling the virtues of OpenOffice to her - no good writing documents if you can't then print them out if you want to!

I think the answer will be to uninstall the printer, then reinstall it. I'll need to see if my friend wants me to have a go at this as it's her computer, but am I right in thinking it would be a straightforward thing to do, and not risky?
