The R (2) are from 20A fakiR and 23A Ruhr
The O is from 27A rushhOur

where am I going wrong ?

There is a variation of the churro called porras but that does not match your letters either.

It certainly seems that CHURRO is correct - I begin to wonder whether there is a printing fault !!
Maybe someone who does this crossword can put some light on it !!

What's the clue giving you fakir?

At a guess (because I've not seen the clue), what you've got as 'fakir' might be 'sadhu'. That would fix your problem with 'churro'.
