I have 2 answers that I cannot cryptically parse but think they are right.

5d Unusually prim goal for work lacking, in a way — such as this (8)
LIPOGRAM

5d I get the anagram but even with looking up the meaning of LIPOGRAM, I cannot relate it to the second part of the clue.

Would love explanations please
