Well Worth Reading Whichever Camp You're In I M H O
A supposedly independent review of the current EU situation - rather lengthy but certainly thought-provoking (it certainly makes me re-think my views on the pros and cons).
I'm posting it for information only (I won't be posting in this thread again) and I hope it doesn't develop into another slanging match.

There are a couple of worrying bits. Clearly the EU project is Germany achieving by stealth what it failed to do by two world wars. Now that this stealth is becoming clear and Nations are standing up with the unfortunate by-product of the rise of the far right how long will it be before there is a war of some sort?

I don’t think our Brexit decision has anything to do with the Greeks. Where on Earth did that idea come from?
I think the article is pretty much spot on. German led EU with stooges France and Italy, who at first thought they were up there with the big boys but have now seen they aren’t.
The UK (population if not the government who always knew the aims of the EU) was only ever after a trading bloc and if it had remained pretty much along those lines we wouldn’t be where we are now.

Funny old World. Some of us have been stating pretty much all of the points made in the article, and been roundly criticised as xenophobes and rampant right wing Nationalists. Now we have "an independent" report laying bare the lies and devious aims of the federalists and suddenly it is thought provoking and an interesting insight into the sly workings of the German and French puppet masters. The winds of change, once blowing, take a long time to abate.
