10C, by your own admission, you watched a few minutes of women's football quite some time ago and decided that it was rubbish. This WC competition has been anything but. There has been nous, technique, effort, passion, great defending and some superb goals. Of course there has also been some naivety, poor passing, apathy, schoolyard defending and lucky...

Yes Lady....Playing well, and a deserved lead at half time. Thank god there has been no repeat of the last game. Just keep it tidy now for the first 20 minutes and push on for the killer third goal. Have you seen Neville's haircut? He said that it is a 10 day haircut...……...in that it will look better in 10 days.
Great goal. No Lady..... honestly look at Neville's haircut(the manager) it is a fright whatever gender you choose for yourself. He did say that it was "a ten day haircut" but I bet the girls have laughed their bits off at him. May even have been deliberate just to ease the tension and give the team a bit of fun. If they get to the final I hope all the girls get the same haircut. :))
I can hope Lady. I am not sure that I can think anymore. (^_*)
What I can see though is a very good team with a manager that they can respect and respond to, with a tactical plan that is as good as any of the other teams left in. Don't forget that the Neville family have form in this sort of environment. The parents were both athletes and PE coaches. Both brothers played for England as did their sister. Safe hands.

OH has been watching it and says he enjoyed it and it was a good match. He doesn't bother with men's football (maybe the legs are better!). Seriously, he reckons the women are more disciplined, graceful and work better as a team. After the horrible match with Cameroon, the ladies have come back well and balanced. Well done them! (I may even watch the final if they are in it :))
