Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Souxie, I've got to ask - for as long as I can remember you've been asking 4 clues from the I Cryptic on a Saturday morning - presumably to 'get you going' - Is it not getting any easier to work out the Setter's mind yet?

Good morning Captain2 I have a problem getting started,I would love to be able to pick up the paper and dive into it but I just cannot get into the mindset of the compilers,I think it is great when the replies have explained how they came to have got to the answers.

With help from people like yourself, I can normally finish the crossword by the Monday.

Like Souxie, I have been doing the i crossword for many years and still often have problems getting started.
My first port of call after I have read through all the clues, is to check Souxie's S,aturday morning post and use any answers that I haven't got to help me get going.
I am also grateful to everyone who responds to her questions, and also grateful to Souxie herself for asking them. X

PS Sorry for my late reply, we left immediately after posting to do the Halifax Agricultural Show and just back in. Awful weather, wonderful people and great sales.
