For example, I remember way back in the early days of commercial TV, one example was Shell which kicked off with very long ads but all ended with "You can be sure of Shell". This slogan then appeared in relative isolation on future occasions. "Esso Blue" was another similar case.
OG, the point is we only have the intro now, and dropped the actual jingle, which actually changed the message altogether, but the explanation works either way.
