The only misprint I find in Bargee is the last letter. Barger, Barges or Barged.
I have PE?S??. No such synonym.
I still have to crack six clues and find about 5 misprints.

Oops. I ignored burgee.
I was aware of the word with CE in place of SI. This is a new word for me.

Misprints give me a name 6,7 followed by 6 letter word for Detective. I had to look up that name. Not familiar with him.
I am missing one misprint.
Does 34d have a misprint and does the answer begin with N?

I have two main characters and their designation. That gives me 23.
I cannot find the 6 letter name that begins with T.

Hankir, the corrections come to 6,7,7 - I think you've got a singular, rather than a plural.

The 'further character' is 6, but doesn't begin T - and he links to two ordinary answers. There's more help on another, earlier thread.

At one point I thought that gang member is a possibility but there is no "gang" in the grid.
