A Barrow - something that can be used to deliver stuff, also an old word for a burial mound?

a coffin?
Any letters placed?
a hearse
a hearse is better. Doesn't seem a good clue to me
Not sure how apt fits in with any of the answers.

No ... this is a Scrabble Club I belong to with a daily crossword clue. Normally I get them very quickly but I can’t get How Apt to work. I sent in A ringer ... but I’m sure this can’t be it .. with the idea of a Dead Ringer being apt (ish) . Thanks for the attempts so far. Nobody else has got it yet either. Will keep trying.

Well done NAC.
Thanks, Danny - hope it's correct!
Best answer so far, and fits the 'how apt' part of the clue.
Danny, thanks again - I definitely didn't like 'A Hearse', it just didn't work.
I wondered about "a bottle" re the wine. BUT that is really "graves" and not grave. Bottle or courage delivering to grave sites could be apt. However all in all I prefer NAC's "barrow"
JJ109, I think I - and maybe other crossword solvers - found the clue slightly odd originally, not being used to 'A...something'. Just (6), Barrow would have been more usual for us! The OP's explanation cleared that up for me.

JJ, I forgot to say 'thanks' - glad you like the look of my Barrow.
Riscagirl, well done - and glad I could help.
