Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Yes, very enjoyable and not too tricky, though I got bogged down in the SW corner. A new setter, I believe?

Not too tricky indeed. The long answers, as ever, gave a good start. I expected more "certain answers", and was unfamiliar with the quote. But apart from that a fair effort.

Yes overall at the easier end of the range, but I had trouble with a few of the extra letters so it did provide a bit of a challenge. An author I have never heard of (my fault, not his.)

I was happy to tackle a Listener that didn't take up too much time out of a busy weekend. There were a few deceptions to trip one up about two-thirds of the way through solving, so not a pushover.

A slight disappointment is the limited number of thematic entries. In this sort of puzzle I consider five to be the absolute minimum, and seven or more is a better target to aim for.
