Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Guardian Crosswords

Not a question about a particular crossword, but hope someone can help. My Guardian crosswords are suddenly no longer "saving" automatically when I close, to go back for another attempt later. Cannot find why. Has anyone else had same problem? I am on a MacBook Pro.

I just entered a couple of answers on today's grid, closed the tab, reopened the site & the answers were still there.

My suggestion would be to email the Editor -

I've no idea why yours isn't saving, but I'm on a Windows desktop & I'd be even less use if it's a Mac-specific problem, I'm afraid :-(

Thank you for the suggestion. I have tried this, been "forwarded to Help Desk", from whom there is, as yet, no reply.
I had hoped someone would have had a similar problem. It appears not, so maybe it is a fault with my laptop.

Hi SM - I notice another (possibly) useful address on the Guardian site - [email protected] - that's for technical help. If it *is* a Mac-ish problem, perhaps you might get more assistance there?

Of course it's the weekend now, so any replies mightn't be forthcoming until Monday...
