Well, I came to the site to ask about this very clue . I have the same t?n? . So I see that tiny fits and that the "mu" of mutiny are the pair to be removed. But where is "show hesitation" and why tiny?
I'm bewildered tbh

You're not alone in your bewilderment - I am sure there is something missing from the clue they have published.

Maybe 'mu' can be seen as 'um', which shows hesitation.

The 'show hesitation' must be UM, but there is no indication to reverse it, nor a definition in the clue for 'tiny' - must be a setter's error.

However, there's no definition for 'Tiny' nor an instruction to reverse the 'hesitation' before losing it.

Well that's a relief! if you can't work it out what hope for poor me?
I've been a bit intermittent in my crossing over the last few weeks. And I thought that I was just out of practice. His Nibs wanted me to go to see him a couple of weekends ago and I jumped at the chance! We had a wonderful couple of days. Although we chat over the computer, it's not the same a being with him. Just touching is so good
