I’ve really enjoyed struggling with this quiz - some very clever clues and some I’m not sure about. Answers are all books with an animal /creature in the title. It’s a ‘no asking’ quiz but we are allowed to ask for extra clues. The only one I’m left with is:
Second line of a Rossetti poem provides this title. 3,7,7. I’ve searched and searched but not found anything except for a mention of swallows and summer, but can’t find a book with those words in the title. Am I on the right lines or do I need to look elsewhere please?
Robert Galbraith.
Could you give me an extra clue please for:
13. Only remaining bottle of moisturiser; and
17. Oriental serving death in these times
It has certainly been a challenge, but enjoyable all the same
13 Look for moisturiser products with a birds name and think what one is on their own
Still looking for 17
And 21 cu eyes this fan 3,6,7
And 45 digits on one limb echo on a child's alphabet 3,5,8
Not looking for answer extra clue please
Thank you so much bows13.
Relating to 17 I have gone with a previous suggestion which is a ‘traffic light colour’ and ‘man’s best friend’ but have no idea why!
45 I looked at what would be listed under echo on a children’s alphabet - animal beginning with that letter (it’s large) and then how many digits on the arm or leg, although it’s not actually the number. I’m probably wrong.
I have the same as you for 17 but with ? Against because I can't see why thanks for 21 and45 still thinking about digit part hellywelly45 cracking name
And thanks toorak only just come back on has had a on line governors meeting
Can I please jump in on this thread and ask for an extra clue for no 37. “Andean flute is getting warm” 5, 3, 5 I seem to be going round in circles on this one.
