Really ?

When you've got "Well done Lewis.' in the post?
well done Lewis on coming second!
'He's got '
//well done Lewis on coming second!//

:-)

But already spoilt for me
What a shame, Bazile. Many have tried though....and failed..... :-(
so why is he not world champ now? He's miles ahead and there is only one race left?
ok I see they were not on the BBC F1 Calendar.
Yes, Tora, with five races left he needs 54 points to be sure of the title. He can afford to come fourth (12 points) in each of the last five races and will need that only if Valtteri Bottas wins all of those races with the fastest lap (26 points each).

Knighthood? Doubtful. He's only the most successful F1 driver of all time, with almost certainly seven world titles to his name. Perhaps he should have ridden a push bike, played tennis or taught Princess Anne to shoot clay pigeons.
Did he take the knee?
He did, as did several others.
But not for Sgt. Harold Preston
England? Only time he comes here is for Grand Prix Racing, Tax dodger.

Indeed NJ

In the field of sports , if one looks at those that have been given Knighthoods / Damehoods and for what achievement ; it really makes a nonsence that he hasn't so been recognised

Yes, Theland, he took the knee. Then he took the hit and miss out of all the other drivers. Well done Lewis Hamilton.
And how do you know he wasn't taking the knee for the murdered cop, Roy. The victim was black. Hamilton was taking the knee because black lives matter. Ergo............................
@2240

That tax dodger nonsence being wheeled out again
If you say so,Bazile.
I think the smallest commentator in the world, Mr Edwards, may have wet himself.

He is an excitable wee soul isn't he.
