How are the 8 thematically modified....i don't really understand what is meant...

I can see how to change the acrosses .....will look at the downs for something similar

Am having problems with changing the down entries. The across ones were easy to spot .Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jadzia, onwards and UPwards will help! If you look at 24, say, with 22 D in mind, you should see how it can easily be something else. The MIND BURN information helps too.

I have a full grid and two names (the across being a first and second name, the down only a second name - and a very famous one). I can see how to change the down entries thematically linked to the eminent name and the entry at 22d. But my across names lead on Google to a polo player with a dodgy driving record and I can’t see how to change the across entries.

JakcAubrey, the Across name is a reasonably well-known writer and playwright. One work has a similar/thematic word in its title.
