How Do You Intemperate The 23Rd - 27Th Dec?
16 Answers
I took it that on any of these days, you could mix with 2 other households i.e 3 households in one house.
Does it also mean you can go and stay with other people?
For example, I've just found out that the father of my children is travelling up from down south on 20th to stay for 3 nights with our youngest daughter and her 2 young children, then he is going to our middle daughter and doing the same, then he will be staying with our elder daughter and her son for another 1 or 2 nights before going home on the 27th/28th.
It doesn't seem like a very good idea to me , what do you think?

Is it also going to mean that you have to isolate from all your family until you're sure that they are OK?
Even if it's within the 'letter of the law', it seems contrary the the spirit of the Government advice and really not a very good idea.

^ and assuming everyone has been tested before hand and/or had self isolated /quarrantined before hand.
Under the planned shedule theres a good chance someone in the chain is infectious, specially the school children even if there feeling okay with no symtoms.
But it sounds as if there all fairly young and so long as there healthy there risk of becoming seriously ill are low.
The problem is tho that they may then go on and meet more vunerable peopel such a s grandparents.
Most peopel who catch it and become ill have not been housepartying every night, just living carefully but been unlucky in who they come into contact with

The Regs state,
"5) Where a member of a household is or has been in a linked Christmas household in relation to members of two other households, the person cannot be linked with the members of any other household under this regulation.
(6) Except as provided by paragraph (7), no person may be a member of more than one linked Christmas household.
(7) A child who does not live in the same household as their parents or one of their parents may be a member of a linked Christmas household formed by each parent.
(8) For the purposes of this regulation two households which are linked households in relation to each other count as a single household."
That means only one bubble can be formed.

Rita Ora paid, though apparently not formally fined. Don't know about Corbyn

As I understand it you have to pick your two other households and then stick only to those and NO ONE in any of the households can mix with other households apart from outdoors and 2 mtres distant
in you list I count 4 households
father
youngest daughter and fam
middle daughter and fam
eldest daughter and fam
and you have to choose one set of households for the whole period so you can't have different bubble groups on different days.

Because of what they have decided to do, I've told them I won't be seeing any of them from 23rd until probably 8 - 10 days after Christmas. Like lots of others, I will spend Christmas Day on my own as I'm classed as vulnerable, so I'm not taking any chances. To make matters worse, my youngest daughter has told me her, hubby and 2 young children are going to her in-laws (once her Dad has left for other daughters) from 23rd - 27th. I just think they are all being irresponsible, but I dare not say anything.
