I asked TTT to write a few lines on cockney rhyming slang. Actually it was an old nun in a church in 1680 and this is what he/she sent back ( thx to Bobbisox).
.
Cockney Sparraz flock to their own cash machines

writes Times correspondent TTT: London customers were shocked when they visited their local rattle and clank to get out some of their sausage and mash - the cash dispenser was using cockney slang.

......A few machines were doling out bees and honey ( money ) in the East End - the true home of the Cockney. The cash machines give the user the option of using the Charlie Sheen [machine] in cockney along side other common languages. They have then to stick their bladder of lard ( card) along with the Huckleberry FInn ( pin) before being asked if they wanted a Lady Godiva ( fiver), a speckled hen, a horn of plenty ( 20) a dirty or perhaps a shifty ( 50) - the machine also asks " So. Some moolah for your shy rocket? Ya rattle and tank balance? - the translation is left to the reader

.....Ron Delreno chmn of the Cash Learning Partnership brought the machines to London whilst workig for the Bank Machine Co - it is a fun concept and has hugely increased the use of machines he said. The machines are to be found in various East End dives, Chingford Mile End Walthamstow.

OK it wasnt an old nurse in a church i 1680 - it was the Times this morning
but you know what the hell
nothing else happening in this cold and deserted world
