Matakari, I wondered how you'd gone so disastrously wrong with 1 D and 3 D when you were given such a generous hint for 1 A earlier. Your first G and your C are wrong. I think you might have had hints earlier - I might have lost track as it was a long list - for 11 A. I'll have another look now...

...and for 1 A, the four letters after up are the 'male party/do' that was given earlier. Then two letters indicating a past tense...
