Where Can I Get It Repaired?
13 Answers
I have a jug which is the same make, pattern etc as the one in the link, but mine is a different shape. I've always liked it since it belonged to my Mum, but some of the silver lustre has worn away and there is a small piece broken off the base. I would love to get it repaired but have no clue as to where I could take it. Any ideas? TIA

danny, I've found a few antique shops not to far from where I live and I know there are often antique fairs near where my daughter lives, so will try them for info.
Barry, I realise it would be cheaper to replace, but it belonged to my Mum and possibly my Nanna so I'd rather pay to have this one repaired. Will have a look for ceramics restorer though.

Barsel, it depends on how much you want or are willing to pay. A local search would be your best bet. The lustre would be easier to repair than replacing a missing part. I personally would keep it in its original condition as the value in it is surely memories of your mum rather than monetory value.
