Re-Setting My Phone Numbers For Tesco Banking
10 Answers
I need to re-set my mobile number and house phone number for Tesco Banking, but can`t find anywhere on their website that tells how. Can anyone help? I need them to access my account. They have my old numbers, but they`ve both been changed long ago, and I need the new numbers for them to contact me. I tried phoning them 2 or 3 times to get the required info, but after over an hour`s total wait, I gave up!
Many thanks.

Have you tried this number? 0345 300 4278 If you call from a mobile phone it should be part of your included minutes and cost you nothing; if you call from a landline it should be 9p a minute. Try this freephone number 0800 3234040

Unfortunately, I can`t log in to my a/c without the correct phone numbers. I get to a point when it needs to check that it`s me, which involves texting or phoning me with a code, which will get me through. Problem is - both the landline and mobile number they have for me are old numbers, long out of date. It gives a number to ring if problems. Being a chargeable number, I estimate that I`ve spent about £4 so far, trying to reach them, without success. I think it`s disgraceful. Any ideas which way to go now??
Thanks, barry1010, I finally made it. As for ".....it`s disgraceful", I don`t think I was too remiss by not updating my phone no`s., as they were only required for a one off occasion at the time. I changed both phones about 4 years ago, but have never needed them until now. The "disgraceful" comment referred to the fact that these large companies are getting ever more difficult for their customers to contact due to lack of email addresses and contact phone no`s. They list page after page with help topics, but you can bet your life that the one thing you want help with is not there!
