Printer Hp 4507 Envy - Prints Too Large! Help Please.
2 Answers
I bought this new printer recently (it is exactly the same model as my old one which broke) and I set it up and everything works the same except..........,the print is too large.
For instance if I print an email sent to me or an invoice in PDF or a returns label they all come out too large and I have tried when going into print to change it but cannot get anything smaller - the A4 paper is completely filled with about 25+ point instead of 14 or 16
Have I set it up incorrectly somehow. I use it with pliug in usb net wifi as I did on the ol printer.
I am puzzled
Thanks

It appears that you've got a scaling option incorrectly configured. After pressing Ctrl P (or File > Print, or whatever), there must be a 'Scale' option, or something similar there somewhere in the dialogue box that you see. (You might need to click on something like 'Properties' first). There should be options there, such as '100%', 'Default', 'Fit-to-page', etc. Check that you've got the right one selected. (If in doubt, trial and error is probably you best way forward).
Buenchico - you've done it again - it is always you who sorts me out!
Yes - I went into Cntl -P and it showed a preview of my print and a list of options next to it. I did not scroll down far enough because near the bottom where it should show default it showed customised 200?
So I made it 'default' and now all is ok !
Thanks so much
