For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.What I think you are saying is can you connect a pump to the hot and cold supplies rather than just the shower that you cannot access, presumably because it runs off the existing supplies. If so, then the pump will just run whenever water is used beyond the pump.
Assuming you have a cold supply from the loft tank feeding at least the bath/shower to link into and the hot supply from the cylinder to link into then there shouldn't be any problem apart from the pump may draw air down the hot vent pipe. You could fit a non-return valve (not a sprung check valve) in the cylinder vent pipe to allow air up but prevent it coming down if it happens.
