Very hard today ...even though i have the said name and a few "versions" of it ...i can't see the rest at all...particularly the long answers...?

I've gone for 3 of each - two of the long ones are in the Chambers entry for the 3 letter 'P' version, two long entries are in the other 3 letter version (one as an abbrev.) and the paired entries are from the 5 letter version. But there are overlapping possibilities.

I cant see how 9d links to any of the three shortened versions of the name? Can someone please put me out of my misery. Nor the link between 14a and 34a where presumably the second word is hammer?
