Please Can Anyone Tell Me How To Set This Thing?

I went to Moles the farm shop today. We have a pest, that shall be nameless, and I want to deter it. We have large holes all around our garden and they are a nuisance. They had this 'thing' and I could not fathom how to use it. I couldn't even move the parts, it was SO stiff.

It's not meant to be a deterrent, it's a mole-killer. Probably quicker and less painful than the usual slaughter methods used to produce McDonalds for the mindless masses.

burley, I imagine it would be extremely quick. Better than having your throat cut. Maybe not quicker than having a bolt fired into your forehead. I personally do not want to be responsible for the death of a sentient being in order to feed myself. It's just my way, and I don't condemn meat-eaters.

We used the windmill things that kids like. They blow in the wind or when you blow on the front of them. Stick them in the ground and they vibrate in the soil and the moles don't like it. Worked will for me

Atheist this thread is about moles - start your own on slaughtering other animals. I still think this thing is cruel and there is NO WAY I would ever use such a contraption.

Mole traps rarely, if ever kill instantly or cleanly.

If set incorrectly, by someone who doesn't know how to work them for instance, they are unlikely to work but cause so much prolonged suffering to any animal caught that the person who set the trap will be charged with animal cruelty, quite rightly.
