3. We're going to see Riverdance and Genesis in September and have booked a couple of nice restaurants for the occasions and we've got a music tribute festival in September too which has real ale, street food and a fair for the kids.

I've not spent one penny on covid tests to go on holiday, and I've been three times this year so far, and looking forward to another one or two. :0) happy days!
Healthy wise , we both are
Looking forward to two weeks in the sun very soon but if that’s delayed , I can wait
Also looking forward so much to going to the Royal Albert Hall in November with my sister in law
Yep, I have lots to feel cheerful about too lcg

Sounds like you do, Bobbi.

I didn't get to go on my planned overseas trips this year, but with so much else going on I am happy to wait until next year. I'll have loads to look forward to then.
My lovely neighbour rang my doorbell to ask if I would mind if he cut my side of a huge hedge when he did his side!
My ugly ivy is all away too between my and my neighbour's fence. Am just waiting for a nice day to paint the fence.

Cousin called for 5 hours yesterday and we had a laugh and a chat about everything.

That was very thoughtful of him, Zebo.

Sounds like a nice catch-up, JJ.
yes it was LCG - she had some health worries but I think she is ok now, she was nervous about taking some tablets but I told her to give them a go. Then it was time for me to offload some things that I have personally been upset about. I am very hurt about the latter cos it is a true saying that "eaten bread is soon forgotten".

It's good to get things of your chest. It doesn't pay to bottle things up.
That's right LCG - it doesn't pay to bottle up but the irony of it - that the person who is perpetrator doesn't know anything about it or "pretends" not to know. buy hey ho.
Question Author
Annoyingly that happens all too often, JJ. People can be totally oblivious or they may just not give a hoot.

My daughter (3rd out of 4) moved out last month, with partner and baby. I've just finished redecorating for my youngest and he is delighted with the bigger room. Plus now redecorating his smaller old room for grandchildren. Small things :-)
Also, grandson was in hospital 2 nights, with bronchiolitis and oxygen around 80. He is better and back home now.
Re LCG and bottling up feelings-

Im finding it’s helping to “let go n let God” and before anyone turns it into a religious debacle - that slogan is from al-anon.

Also learning that “what anyone thinks of my business is none of my business”.
that's good news Pixie
So ^^^ I think what I’m grateful for is learning new coping mechanisms for life in general
Thanks jj, quite a relief x
How old is grandson pixie?
yes it is so great - as my next door neighbour's cousin had a little still born baby boy on Thursday - so a new healthy baby is really a boon.

My nephew has a little 6 months baby boy and I haven't seen him re various reasons namely Covid. I simply love him without having seen him - only for photos.
So sorry, jj. That's awful. Eve, he's 3 months x
Question Author
I hope you get to see him soon, JJ.
I'm still breathing :) That's good enough for me
