Trees down, wagon overturned ( Durham) power cuts etc, all we’ve had is plant pots blew across the decking, clock blown off the fence, nothing compared to a lot ,I hope those up in Aberdeen etc are safe as they seem to have taken a hit
Stay safe folks

It was extremely windy when out dog walking last night, I had to cut the walk short (sorry Jill) because on a couple of occasions I really thought I was going to be blown over, it was scary ! No damage as far as I could see this morning and the wind has dropped considerably now, thank God !

You're not wrong there, Bobbi...
We had high winds during the night and then woke to a few inches of snow here in West Yorkshire. There are power cuts in our village but fortunately this hasn’t affected us.
Has the BBC mentioned it being down to climate change yet? Just wondered.
I’m in North Berwick right in the Red Zone. It has been a new experience.
Where I live (3 farm cottages) We’ve lost a shed door, a shed, glass from greenhouses, our shed has gone, a tree came down. Had it not been for my husbands car, the leccy pole would have been brought down and maybe damage to the houses.
Car lost its wing mirror and has a dent but been lucky.
I hope everyone has stayed safe and warm. Wouldn’t wish this on anybody at all.
Queenie, I hope the wind has settled this am for you .

Hazlinny, we have a few roads closed here ( NE England) and a lot of power and water off, we’ve been lucky where we are as we’re quite high up for flooding etc
Awful experience for you Queenie. Very frightening. Hope things improve soon and you stay safe and anyone else going through this.
Daughter and Grandchildren weren't coming today as it was their local Xmas lights switch on , but it's been cancelled until tomorrow, so now they can come to see me. :-)
