Looks like the wee un has decreed that her subjects must face another month of unnecessary restrictions. Is she just being deliberately contrarian?

I saw that but dint fancy another Sots and English war like the Queen one as I’m in a good mood today haha

But to your OP, isn’t she always? And just the day before for England :0)))
*Scots and * didn’t
In a word TTT - Yes.
The sooner we have a referendum including the rest of the UK the sooner we can get rid of her of our Tellys etc.

Odious woman.
No, TTT, she just doesn't agree with you, and unlike you there's a lot hanging on her judgment. Get over it.
Maybe things are slightly different in that part of the UK ...
The difference is Nicola is not desperate to please the public and risk lives just to try and save her own skin.
....Like Boris is....end of.
Reports reach us of the sacking of the three cauldron operators tasked with formulating future policy ideas.

They will be temporarily replaced by lawyers Birnam-Wood.
Go deal with your own issues.
oh anne, I don't know how you can stand to live up there, the constant stomping of the jackboots and the rustling of kilts. You know you'd be better off under the benevolent rule of Dear Leader Boris
Jno, you haven’t taken your tablets today have you ? :-)
No-one knows what will happen during the next month. I'm not a fan of hers but there's nothing wrong with'' erring on the side of caution''.
Now she's got the hump because they might have to take on the costs if they want to continue free PCR\LF tests
//Maybe things are slightly different in that part of the UK ...//

Yes they are. Despite all their additional and more onerous restrictions which have, in the main, remained in place longer than in England, Scotland currently has a greater number of daily reported infections and a greater number of people in hospital with Covid (both per head of population) than England. This is despite England having a population density some six times higher than Scotland.

Ms Sturgeon's strategy throughout has been to impose harsher measures, introduce them earlier and retain them longer than Mr Johnson's efforts in England. Leaders of the devolved nations (and to a lesser extent, Mayor Khan of London) have deliberately chosen to be at odds with the UK government (deciding matters for England only) because they could, not because it was sensible. They needed to be seen to act differently to burnish their credentials. Well they've done that and a lot of good it's done them. But somehow I suppose it will the Westminster government's fault.

Yes there is. The country cannot afford it. But more than that, emergency measures should only be imposed when there is an emergency. And there isn't.
The Queen of Mean, not our Queen of Mean....

Why might that be?
I've absolutely no idea. And since nobody seems to have any idea what effects - if any - the various Draconian measures had upon the spread of the virus (something that is becoming increasingly apparent) I doubt anybody else has either.
No.
